It is God's foremost desire that the glorious gospel be preached to all nations and disciples made of men. Matthew 28:19-20 From the "Great Commission" our vision unfolds; to prepare men, women, boys and girls to effectively witness the Good News of Jesus Christ. This vision is going forward using a strong and vibrant Christian education program that teaches the Word of God fully knowing that "people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge... (Hosea 4:6) God's vision for Greater Mount Calvary Christian Church includes, but not limited to the following: Christian School - To include daycare, kindergarten and Christian Academy (grades 1-12) that meet the P-I-E-S (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, and Spiritual) needs of our children. "Train up a child in the way he shall go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 Bible College or Seminary - To better enable the more serious student to study the Word of God. "Study to show thyself approved unto God." II Timothy 2:15 Family Life & Resource Center - To include family counseling (abusive and dysfunctional), marriage and pre-marriage counseling, drug and substance abuse counseling. Hosea 4:6 Retreat Center - To serve as a teaching and learning facility for those near and far who desire to know and do the will of God, to include a recreational facility complete with pool and gymnasium. II Timothy 2:2. I Timothy 2:3-4 Senior Citizens Housing - To aid our seniors who have laid the foundation, given of themselves that we might see and experience a better day, to them we are debtors. II Timothy 5:3,5,10 Transitional Housing - To aid those who have fallen into bad fortune and assist in getting permanent housing. Matthew 25:42-45 Business Complex - “And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.” (Luke 19:13) Write the vision, make it plain...At the end it shall speak and not lie."
